Cashew Cream (Vegan, Dairy Free, Gluten Free, Egg Free)

1 cup water
Bring 4 cups of water to a boil. Pour over cashews and let sit for 5 minutes. Drain cashews. Pour cashews and 1 cup of water into a blender (add desired seasonings) and blend until creamy.
Optional Seasonings: Italian (oregano, thyme, basil, parsley, sage) (can use for the cream sauce in pasta)
Sweet (maple syrup and vanilla) (can use for coffee creamer)
Spicy (cayenne pepper, red pepper flakes, salt)
