How Do I Determine What Products to Use?

Some of you may be wondering how I determine what products I use and if they contain clean ingredients or dirty ingredients. To answer your question, most of the time I have help from a free mobile app on my phone that tells me what the products contain and if they are clean or dirty. The name of this app is called Think Dirty. This app contains tons of products! It breaks down each product into individual ingredients and rates them on a scale of 0 to 10 (0 being completely clean and 10 being the most dirty). For an additional cost, it tells you why the ingredients are rated what they are. This app has helped me tremendously in learning what products to swap to provide our household clean products! I try to keep my product rating 3 or less. Sometimes it is hard to find a good product that it completely clean. And let's face it, it's hard to have clean ingredients 100% of the time. Keeping cleaner ingredients than what you previously did before is an accomplishment!
